Sleepy Hallow was recently filmed fighting a man in court and being detained by multiple police officers.

Chaos in the Sleeping Sacristy Court

On Tuesday (June 18), Instagram blog blextv shared footage of the Brooklyn Drill rapper getting involved in a violent scuffle at a New York courthouse. In the video below, multiple police officers pull The Sleeping Hallows off a man as he lies on the floor. They struggled to pull the rapper away, but he was kicked in before they could pull him off. When he was eventually pulled away from the melee, multiple officers fell to the floor.

Another video shows the sleepy man standing nearby in handcuffs while several police officers at the scene restore order. “This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen in my life,” one viewer said.

The video has a disclaimer stating that the clip is a “short skit for entertainment purposes during the filming of a music video,” which may be a way of trying to avoid IG deleting violent content. According to court records obtained by XXL, Sleepy Hallow, born Tegan Chambers, did have a court hearing this morning at King’s Supreme Criminal Court in Brooklyn.

XXL has contacted Sleepy Hallow’s team, his lawyers and the King’s Crown Court for comment.

Legal Issues with the Sleeping Hallows

Sleepy Hallow was playing with fire by committing an arrestable offense. He is currently facing an extortion case and is out on bail. Last May, the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office filed 140 charges against Sleepy Hallow, Sheff G and 30 other alleged members of the 8 Trey Crips and 9 Ways gangs in New York City. The indictment, dating to March 2019, accuses members of the group of carrying out 12 shootings that killed 13 victims, one of whom died. Police said the gang used Latin on the phone to hide their crimes.

Most recently, Sleepy made headlines along with Sheff G for co-signing with Donald Trump at a campaign rally in the Bronx in May.
