According to a new report from Snoop Dogg, the rapper is preparing to release Missionary next month as a follow-up to his 1993 debut album Doggystyle.
However, the excitement doesn’t stop there. Snoop also tapped Dr. Dre for production/mixing duties. Drink Champs recently revealed that the album will be released by Death Row Records, Aftermath and Interscope.

Most recently, Snoop was celebrated for his contributions to Tha Dogg Pound’s latest album, WAWG (We All We Got). Interestingly, this is where the new revelations come from. Tha Dogg Pound duo Daz Dillinger and Kurupt recently chatted with NORE and DJ EFN on Drink Champs about everything from Death Row, Tupac and Nate Dogg to the hottest info regarding Snoop’s upcoming album.
While until recently, Snoop seemed busy managing the Death Row Records name and label, the mogul seems to be getting back to his roots as an artist, especially since Drake used his vocals on Kendrick for an AI-powered After diss. Now, the host is back stronger than ever, dropping and teasing project after project.

Just last month, the rapper was seen giving flowers to Kendrick while filming a video for an unreleased song (although he also admitted in a separate interview that Drake and Kendrick are his ” nephew”). Although Snoop plays it with sophistication and maturity, we’ll be excited to know if the aforementioned track ends up on Preacher. After all, we can expect a slew of bars, as he does say Kendrick and Drake are getting everyone rapping again!
