Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated Juneteenth holiday show in Los Angeles will be opened to the public via Amazon’s Rotation brand.

pgLang and Free Lunch are hosting “The Pop Out” at the Kia Forum in Inglewood. The party is scheduled for June 19, and tickets sold out shortly after they went online.

Luckily for those who weren’t able to get a pass, the concert will be live-streamed at 4pm PT on Prime Video and the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch.

As of now, it’s unclear who will be attending the show besides Wasabi, who confirmed his appearance via a social media post.

Despite the name of Lamar’s upcoming concert, he hasn’t been seen in public over the past few months, though he appears to be slowly starting to reappear.

The rapper made a surprise appearance at a graduation ceremony in his hometown earlier this week to share some words of inspiration for the next generation.

Compton College’s 2024 commencement ceremony was held on Friday (June 7). K.Dot caught the audience off guard within minutes of taking the stage.

“I’m just here to tell you how much I appreciate you,” he began. “I’m proud of the city of Compton; I’m proud of Compton College; and most importantly, I’m proud of the graduates here. Yes, I know what it takes. You’ve been through a lot of hardships, not only in your In your house, in your community, and most importantly, within yourself. This is the hardest thing to overcome. We are still growing day by day, brick by brick, making sure that we are not only physically but mentally. All are developing.

I think we develop some of the most incredible talent: creatives, intellectuals, talent. We had it from day one, which is why I always scream for this city. I’ve traveled all over the world; there’s no place like this. No place.

He continued, “I still believe in everything we’ve done, brick by brick, I still believe. It’s time for us to change the narrative. Some people are telling us this generation doesn’t have it. Gen Z – we as a whole They’re talking about it all the time and saying we don’t know what we’re doing, but you know why? [do] You all have what it takes; you all have something greater: you all have the heart and the courage to be independent thinkers. Independent thinker – nothing is more valuable.

“This degree that you have here is as important as any degree – I don’t care what school, I don’t care which institution. The Compton College-Compton degree is just as important. Now, it’s all about taking advantage of these resources, taking advantage of what you have Learn the knowledge and apply it.
