The trailer for the upcoming Pharrell Williams LEGO-themed biopic was released today.
“Piece By Piece,” which will premiere on October 11, tells the story of the successful musician’s coming of age, discovering his love for music, and ultimately his iconic career as a producer, singer, and rapper.
Pharrell will voice himself alongside several other music industry figures, including Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z, as well as pop artists Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake.
“You know, it would be a cool thing if we told my story out of LEGO bricks,” LEGO Farrell told LEGO director Morgan Neville (Oscar winner for 20 Feet From Stardom) Award-winning documentary filmmaker), who asked with a polite smile: “Seriously?” Farrell responded: “Keep an open mind.”
