On April 10, graphic designer Shawn Vandergriff shared an illustration on Facebook, titled “White Rapist Hill Rushmore Mountain.” Photos show Eminem, Mac Miller, Paul Wall and Russ Chiseel are mountain-sided to represent the best Caucasian Spittas. Since then, the post has spread, causing controversy and online jokes.
“Where is vanilla ice?” someone answered in the comment section of the Facebook post.
Another posted: “No MC Search or Beastie Boys, this list is invalid.”
Another rap fan wrote: “The first 3 are valid. Aesop rock replaces Russ.”
Others joked: “It should be Marshall Mathers, Slim Shadow, Eminem and b-rabbit lol.”
Even the rappers have been weighing who appears in the picture. On April 11, Russ involved his entry into the position. “Someone using Facebook told me how crazy the comment section is,” he wrote on X.
The machine gun Kelly Kelly was surprised to omit it from the image. The Cleveland rapper expressed his opinion on X. “I’m not blasphemous on white rapper MT Rushmore,” he tweeted Sunday (April 13), and his freestyle on the 2024 Million-Dollar Game Podcast.
