Busta Rhymes is excited to finally cross paths with MC Sha-Rock, who is considered the first female host.
In a video posted on Sha-Rock’s Instagram account, Busta Rhymes repeatedly praised Sha-Rock, calling her an “icon” and a “legend.” Then he asked, “Why does your skin look so beautiful?” She said, “Hip, baby!”
Sharrock also told him that she had been trying to contact him for years, then mentioned her Rock the Bells radio show with Master Kaz. Bus-A-Bus opened her eyes wide and said, “Kaz, my brother. I’m Kaz’s son.” Then, like G, she asked him to do something for the show, and he happily agreed.
“It was an honor to meet Busta Rhymes for the first time on the Rock The Bells Cruise,” MC Sha-Rock told AllHipHop. “Busta Rhymes had just finished his show. I stood next to Capri Kid and I said to him, ‘I’ve never met Busta Rhymes. He said, “Stop lying.” “I said: “It’s not serious. “
“I said to Capri Kid, ‘Can you introduce me formally?’ He said, ‘You’re Sharrock.’ Walking through all the people waiting to take pictures with Busta. I said, ‘I’m not going to do that.’ “Capri Kid took me to Busta and made the introduction – and the rest is history. I have always had the utmost respect for Busta. I have always considered him a true presenter and the consummate stage presence ists.
