A woman has shared one of the “craziest things” she’s ever experienced at Disneyland. That’s because while she was waiting for her family outside the ride, she noticed an unattended child in a stroller outside the queue.
Out of curiosity, TikTok content creator Pixieduststudio (@thepixieduststudio.co) happened to live nearby. Then she noticed a couple leaving their children outside for 45 minutes. She posted on TikTok what she did afterwards and the reactions of Disney cast and crew members, which has been viewed more than 84,000 times.
Disney trip turns into worrisome experience
TikToker Pixieduststudio regularly travels to Disneyland. But when she discovered an unaccompanied child during a trip in July 2025, her experience was less magical.
She exited the Indiana Jones Adventure ride with no intention of getting on the ride before encountering the unsupervised child. Her kids loved it, but she got sick when she rode it. So she waited outside and let the kids get into the car on their own.
Pixieduststudio found a spot to sit outside the rides, intent on enjoying some reading time. However, when she looked to the side, she found a few children attracting her attention.
“There was probably a seven-year-old girl sitting on something next to me, looking at the stroller, and there was a little kid sleeping in the stroller,” she said. “I thought it was weird that these kids didn’t have any adults here, but I thought, ‘Oh, … maybe mom parked them there and went to get their cell phone orders or something.'”
After some time, Pixieduststudio noticed that her children had not returned because the rides were broken.
The adventures of indiana jones stop
As Pixieduststudio kept tabs on her kids, she noticed people “leaving” the rides. But her children are still missing. Still, she waited patiently for them.
Finally, 45 minutes had passed since her children had gone to line up for “The Adventures of Indiana Jones.” Pixieduststudio thought she might have to leave her spot to find them, but she couldn’t just leave the children waiting outside alone.
“No one was with them, and I’d been here for a long time. So, I approached an actor and I said, ‘Hey, I don’t know whose kids these are, but they’ve been sitting next to me for about 45 minutes. … I need to find my kids because they seem to be trapped somewhere,'” Pixieduststudio recalled.
She told an actor about the children’s situation, who promised to “handle” the situation. Then things got “even crazier.”
The cast assists a woman in her search for her baby – and then she learns something shocking
Pixieduststudio goes in search of her children, who have somehow become trapped on the Indiana Jones ride. Eventually, an actor took her to a place to wait for them to come out. After another 15 minutes, they finally met again.
Then her children started telling her stories about other riders. At first, Pixieduststudio didn’t understand what was going on. The Indiana Jones ride apparently stopped running “all the time,” so she didn’t think there was anything unusual. They then started talking about their reaction when a couple got trapped on the ride.
According to her children, two parents in the car were “terrified.” They explained that their children were waiting for them outside. That’s when she realized she was actually just observing their child for free.
But to make things even more hectic, parents were cursing and yelling at Disney employees for being stuck.
“My 11-year-old is very, very sensitive to language. She doesn’t like swearing,” Pixieduststudio said. “She said, ‘Mom, they say all these mean things to the actors. They say the S-word, the D-word and the H-word.'”
Pixieduststudio recalled that the whole situation was a “huge” coincidence, but she was disturbed by the couple’s behavior, especially given the way they treated Disney employees.
While some viewers said leaving children unsupervised is more common in other countries, others pointed out how dangerous it can be to leave children unsupervised.
“It’s crazy and very irresponsible for these parents to leave their children unsupervised. The children could be kidnapped,” one commenter said.
Another added, “Sadly this was not a random incident. I have seen this happen before, there were reports of a child being left in a stroller and both cast members and security personnel reacted.”
What should I do if I find an unsupervised child at Disneyland?
According to the Disneyland website, you should “report a lost child to a Cast Member so that Disneyland Resort security personnel can assist you. Children who are separated from their parents in the park will be escorted by a Cast Member to the nearest infant care center and lost children facility.”
