Weeknd showed off all his vocal abilities in the latest episode of Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. The singer-speaker came on stage to perform “Battle of Fear/Open Heart” with a small 3-piece band behind him.
The performance starts slowly with the almost gloomy lighting, but that changes the moment we enter the collapsed part of the song. From this point on, blue and red dance lights take over to complement the quick synth modulation reminiscent of Fool Punk.
Jimmy and Weeknd also appeared at Fordham University graduation parties, and unsuspecting students soon realized that their DJ was Jimmy Fallon and followed up with a weekend show. Students crowded and cheered the duo when the weekend performed “Blind Lights” and other eternal hits. check it out!
