Tyrese went on another bizarre rant about his emotions and announced he was quitting social media.
The outspoken actor and singer posted a lengthy caption on Instagram over the weekend following the release of his movie “1992” and latest album “Beautiful Pain.”
“I’m officially retired from social media,” he began. “I’m gonna go dark. I’m gonna pray I’ll turn off my comments because I don’t want to be reminded of this very nasty and intolerable story, real men don’t cry.
“If a man is having a baby with that beautiful woman, fiancé, or wife, and she ends up having a miscarriage [ I thank God I’ve never experienced this ] The only people who are depressed, saddened, or even suicidal by such a loss are not just women.
Tyrese then shared his thoughts on masculinity: “Real men are constantly being emasculated these days, and recently someone even had the nerve to put the word ‘toxic’ in front of masculinity…yeah, trying to make me feel bad. The epic fail of literally being a man, an APLHA male, the protective or outspoken father or head of my family.
He then mentioned his contentious divorce from ex-wife Samantha Lee and his current relationship with girlfriend Zelie Timothy: “I’m not going to post another one about me. My ex-wife Samantha Lee’s posts, or any of the feelings I still have for her when I wake up, BEAUTIFUL PAIN wouldn’t exist!
“And I will not make another post trying to make a childish, mature, petty social media troll understand that the love of my life, Zellie Timothy, never asked to be here? What if this woman never showed up to help me? Discovering the beauty in my pain, the smiles on my face, the intimacy, the flirting, the laughter, the wildness, the sex and the lovemaking wouldn’t be here! Sadly, we still live in this world that feels like it. Against women, we are reminded that men are from Mars, haha.
Tyrese also said that he wanted the phone numbers of three celebrities: “All I want right now is Denzo Washington, Stevie Wonder, KING ALPHA and our fearless leader, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. Telephone.
Although his team briefly took over his social media accounts, the Baby Boy star later resumed posting on Instagram.
Tyrese made an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” after an emotional few weeks while reminiscing about her mother, two sisters, film director John Singleton and “Fast & Furious” co-star Paul Walker passed away.
“I do the best I can every 24 hours,” he tearfully admitted, before proudly declaring: “Black people cry.”
The 45-year-old actor surprised former Fast & Furious co-stars Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez on the red carpet at a Los Angeles premiere in 1992. He also showed his emotions.
