Over the weekend, Tyrese was performing at a show in Georgia when he suddenly stopped performing and stormed off the stage, allegedly to avoid a lawsuit.
The R&B singer performed a show at the Stockbridge Amphitheater on Saturday (May 11) with Eric Benet. Video from the event shows a security guard whispering something to Tyrese during his performance. He then made a hasty exit, jumping off the stage towards the exit and even singing to the crowd as he walked up the stairs to leave.
“I’m coming out,” Tyrese said awkwardly under his breath.

While fans were confused by his hasty departure, a new report sheds light on the incident. According to TMZ, Tyrese is avoiding the process servers there as documents are filed against him in a $10 million defamation and defamation lawsuit.
The outlet reported on documents related to film producer Bryan Barber, who filed a lawsuit against Tyrese last October.
In a post on Instagram, Tyrese claimed that he almost canceled the show, although he made no mention of his dramatic exit.
“Two hours before the show I was going to cancel because my heart was so heavy. I just didn’t think I could get through it,” Tyrese wrote in part.
He finally revealed his upcoming “dream come true” trip to Kuwait.
