Tyler, The Creator’s highly anticipated new album Chromakopia is finally out.
The rapper had only released one single, “Noid,” on DSP prior to the project, as well as a music video starring Emmy and Golden Globe winner The Bear actress Ayo Edebiri. It was released three years after his last album, Call Me If You Get Lost, which became his second No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and won him a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.
Taylor caused a stir in the industry a week ago when he announced that he would release his new record on Monday instead of the industry-standard Friday. He hosted a Chromakopia listening party in Los Angeles on Sunday night (October 27), and the song was released on DSP just hours later. He will also take the album on a global tour, kicking off on February 4th at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Features on the album are not listed, but appear to include guests such as Childish Gambino, ScHoolboy Q, Lil Wayne, Doechii and GloRilla. Stream Chromakopia below.
