The Bristol, Connecticut presenter, founder of Leathal Wreckords and founder of Leathal Weekends music festival Fury has released his second EP. In almost 17 years, he has released 3 full-length albums in addition to “Leathal Winter” with Majik Ninja Entertainment alum/iLLViLLE Worldwide founder Gibby Stites and “You Already Know” with Tre Lb A studio LP and an EP in chop shops all summer long. Six months later, the younger brother of Insane Clown Posse group Shaggy 2 Dope is now fully producing The Bender in November.
“I Won’t” featuring Trikkdout opens with the alarming trap instrumental as the pair discuss their fatal tendencies, while “Red Lights” featuring Vanity Grime melancholy admits that in his current situation Nothing good will happen in this place. “Somebody Help Me” uses some guitar to talk about not wanting to go on, and after the “A Friend” skit, “The Last Time” closes the EP with an orchestral desire to heal this man’s soul.
Fury himself has always said that “The Bender in December” is some of the best music he’s ever made, and having been following him since he formed the duo Something Awful with Bizarre, formerly of D12 fame, I have to agree with him Cooperate fully. Tre Lb’s production remained consistent on “You Already Know,” only this time, he let the member of the Odd Movement rip at the mic alone for 15 minutes.
