Travis Scott was arrested on DWI charges early Thursday.
He was arrested after allegedly yelling at people on a yacht in Miami Beach, Florida. The rapper was booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center around 4:30 a.m. on charges of intoxication and trespassing on property after being given a warning.
Miami Beach police said officers responded to the Miami Beach Pier early Thursday after receiving reports of a disturbance on a yacht, NBC reported. Someone called dispatch to say there was a fight on the boat.
When police arrived, Travis was “standing on the dock yelling at people on the boat,” but the complainant told police he didn’t want to ask for a change, he just wanted the rapper off the boat. Police could detect “a strong odor of alcohol coming from the defendant’s breath,” the affidavit states.
