Travis Scott is once again being accused of ruining A$AP Rocky’s style — and this time, it involves a piece of heavy machinery.
Over the weekend, a video was posted on Instagram of La Flame and some of his crew commandeering a tank in an open field.
The Houston rapper assumed the role of captain, yelling, “Let’s go!” as the tanks began rolling across the field.
While some comments pointed out that it wasn’t actually a tank but a Soviet BMP, many also accused Scott of copying A$AP Rocky.
One comment said: “Copied again by @asaprocky, this was done in riot mv.”
Another commented: “Made it as soon as possible.”
Rocky drove a tank in the video last year for the song “Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n)”.
There’s no word yet on what Scott is using the tank to do, but some speculate he’s filming a music video for his Utopia hit “FE!N.”
Rumors of tension between Travis Scott and A$AP Rocky have been circulating for some time, with the “Fucking Problems” rapper believed to have expressed displeasure with La Flame while performing at Rolling Loud last year.
While performing an unreleased song called “Taylor Swift,” Rocky rapped: “First you stole my flow, so I stole your bitch/Then you stole my style, I need at least ten percent/all due disrespect and I want you to be angry.”
The song’s lyrics appear to be related to Scott’s alleged relationship with Rihanna in 2015, which neither party has confirmed or denied.
Rocky has been dating Rihanna since 2020, and the couple has welcomed two children so far.
There’s also speculation that the line could be about Derek, who has made no secret of his love for Rarity. Rocky also expressed dissatisfaction with the Canadian superstar in his recent guest verse on Cady Boy’s “WOW.”
Some also believe the quote could be about Chris Brown, who was also in a relationship with Rihanna from 2007 to 2009 and again in 2013.
Rocky previously accused Scott of stealing his style in a 2016 interview with Hot 97, saying: “Let people decide if he’s bitey or sincere.”
A$AP Nast also accused the “SICKO MODE” hitmaker of copying their style, specifically since he started wearing Stone Island clothes after the A$AP Mob member.
Rocky later downplayed the beef rumors, posting on social media in 2019: “Well I’m done with the beef shit with Travis, let’s just let it go.”
