Tory Lanez may have been found guilty in the shooting death of Megan Thee Stallion, but the drama between the two artists remains. Meghan recently obtained a five-year restraining order against Lanez, although he will remain in prison until 2033. Tory Lanez’s “CAP” music video is one such example. In the clip, the Torontonian makes multiple rude references to Megan Thee Stallion. So much so that his lawyers have discussed the film.
Tory Lanez’s attorney, Michael Hayden, spoke to “CAP” Video during a recent press conference. In the video, the artist cuts a horse leg in a butcher’s shop, an apparent reference to Meghan’s nickname. In the music video, Tory Lanez also takes the microphone away from a fictional reporter. “Bi***es tryin’ to finish me off, so I can’t be polite,” he raps. Megan Thee Stallion sees these as threats to her safety, a trend Hayden says won’t continue in 2025.[He] shouldn’t do something like [that],” Hayden said. “Yeah, that’s a little harsh.”
Tory Lanez plans to ‘mind her own business’ in 2025
