Tory Lanez is having some buzz surrounding his recent verse on DDG’s new single “HANDLING BUSINESS.” In the song, he recounts a regret from the night of Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting. “The only thing I regret that night was jumping out of the pool with Kylie,” he said there, discussing a video of him taking a bath with Meghan and Kylie Jenner that’s been circulating online. He then gave a shout out to Drake and supported him through all his problems. They were once sworn enemies, but over time, things have reconciled. “I pray and wait for the day niggas come to me like they did, Drizzy/I got the card in my wallet, Big Brody’s problems are my problems, so how the fuck do you feel’ about this Thing/Brody is already independent, but in 2024, it’s just not fair in Toronto.
But that wasn’t the only version of him that caught people’s attention this weekend. Tory Lanez is back with more Lost Tapes. This week’s edition includes the 2019 broadcast-related clip “Honest” and the 2018 recording “Losing Friends.” Lanez lost five friends in different ways that year, with just four months remaining before the end of the competition. In the pre-chorus, he sounds like he’s starting to cry during a rap filled with passion and emotion. You can view them via the links below.

Quoting the lyrics of “Losing Friends (2018)”:
Yesterday, my n**** E committed suicide
Sometimes I realize that in this world, it’s life and death
Meet one of my most real women, meet but barely take pictures
Where the hell was I when you took your life, man, I was supposed to be with you
I know we come from [?] But we still keep G
Picked me up from my apartment once, right there [Lisa?]
