Phoenix, Arizona Trap Metal Gear Dropout Kings are now made up of singers Eddie Wellz and Rob Sebastian, guitarist Chucky Guzman & Jeremy Garcia and eventually Joe Lana Jr. released their 3rd Studio LP on Drum/percussion. They debuted on their debut videotape in 2018 and gained more momentum with their debut EP Glitchgang a few years later, they signed for the split sophomore effort, Riot Music’s suburban Noize Records, even my personal favorite music on the record. Original chief singer Adam Ramey tragically took his life this spring, and the kings dedicated Yokai to him.

“Black Sheep” begins the album with the Rap Metal/NU Metal Throwback saying about coming into their minds, while “Brace Yourself” suggests preparing for everything that you do to break everything you want and embrace the introduction of both styles again. “Baka” returns to the band’s trap metal roots, promising life and death through honor, and quotes my favorite WR of Randy Moss ever, but then “FTW (FTW (Fuck World)” is only to give the middle finger to everyone around.

The rap metal resonance returns to “Devil Fruit”, observing the game’s observations as it was as cruel as before “Day One”, starting Yokai’s second half, with the most melodic moments throughout the project singing about life throughout the project, and things look brighter these days. “Guidedo” mixes rap metal with alternative metal so they can say their way to find their way in the dark, and “fake” it asks if their name will say or disappear if they happen to disappear.

Meanwhile, on the title track, we’re driving the dropout king in the direction of industrial hip-hop and talking about bringing knives to gunfights and getting smart before getting too high before rap the “eye bleach” on the rock, which shows that they should treat all of these other bands in the alley, just like their alley, they’ve already hung up and hung. The recent “Dead Name” ended the sequintet’s first debut with the metal/rap metal hybrid wanted to be buried as the previous book.

At the party of late summer/late summer/fall magazine in 2021, seeing the dropout king live during the party, it is likely that Adam Ramey’s final record celebrates everything he celebrates for Mark’s story at the end of a time in the group’s story. Strong will, ambitions, struggles and pain have made these guys shape their guarantees today to adapt to the development of capturing metal during the greatest loss period.

Score: 8/10
