Rational thanked his former record label Top Dawg Entertainment, just as he delivered his first project after leaving the West Coast imprint.
On Friday (February 28), video footage of his new album LP I Love You began to be released on social media as users began to react in order to take some time to reflect on his journey with TDE. In addition to crediting the label to the power that introduced him to the world, he expressed his gratitude to TDE for his turmoil exit after a public dispute with a president in 2023.
“I want to start a real effort quickly – thank you for being the top entertainment for Dodge Entertainment,” rational began. “Most of everyone doesn’t know I don’t have Dawg Entertainment, and I’m grateful for everything they did for me. I’m grateful for them and even allowed me to do my own thing. I have a lot of special memories out there.”

As he continued, rational words emphasized his respect for the opportunities offered by TDE as he acknowledged the impact of the relationships, music and moments he experienced when signing the tag.
“I thank everyone at Dop Dawg Entertainment, and everything they did for me and all the roads they created and all the roads they created,” he said. I do want to start from now on. ”
According to the press release, Reason has entered a new chapter in his career, pushing his 10-track project to show his artistic rebirth. The album is both personal and artistic statement in collaboration with Hit-Boy, Dreamville’s Bas, Ransom, Kota and Coyote.
“I love you again is thanks to my fans and myself for not giving up on me and the music,” Reason said in the News Force. “It’s a complete passion project. The cover art of the project symbolizes me entering a new space in my career. But with my classic work,”
Reason continues: “I just want to make fans of every reason as proud as possible. From the work to the lyrics to the overall sound, I’m back to the space of authenticity in the music. And as severe as possible.”
The recession of rationality and TDE began in August 2023, when DAWG Entertainment President Moosa demeaned him in the back episode of the Figg podcast. The two sparked heated debate after Moosa called the show against the frustration of the launch of the mystery album. At the time, Reason also claimed that the label delay prevented him from securing certain features and eventually criticized Moosa using Kendrick’s terminology and for labeling Drake a year later.
“This n ####’SA Master Manipulator,” Reason said of Moosa. “I never said Doechii would create or break my career. I never said a feature would create or break my career… You are a manipulator. You are lying.”
