Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, a Houston attorney, revealed that the hotline received more than 12,000 calls in 24 hours for people to call with accusations about Diddy.
Diddy’s hotline is blowing up
Buzbee spoke to Law & Crime magazine on Oct. 2, one day after hosting a press conference where he revealed that he represents 120 people who plan to sue Puff and his associates for sexual abuse. In the interview (pictured below), Buzbee claimed that the hotline has received more than 15,000 calls with accusations against him since the embattled music mogul announced he was taking on the case.
“When I announced that I was going to pursue this case, the floodgates really opened,” he says at the 6:47 mark in the video below. “In 10 days, we received 3,200 calls, and starting with yesterday’s press conference, we received 12,000 calls in about 24 hours. Our Herculean task is to try to screen every call and make sure that we can identify those Those who are victims and those who serve as witnesses and collect evidence.

Diddy faces civil and criminal cases
Diddy has been sued 12 times in the past 12 months, and according to Buzbee, the Bad Boy founder will face dozens more. On Oct. 1, Buzbee told the assembled media that he was suing Diddy and his associates on behalf of 120 people, alleging sexual abuse dating back to 1991. .
Diddy’s attorney, Erica Wolff, released the following statement to XXL in response to a press release from Buzbee Law Firm.
“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every baseless accusation in a reckless media circus,” the statement read. “That being said, Mr. Combs He categorically denies any allegation that he sexually abused anyone, including minors, as false and defamatory. He looks forward to proving his innocence and defending himself in court, and the truth will be based on evidence rather than facts. Sure.
Diddy is also facing a serious criminal case last month after he was arrested and indicted for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation for prostitution. He has entered a not guilty plea but must remain in jail until his trial after being refused bail.
