Wack 100 has been on my mind all year long. The West Coast veteran and music executive has been working alongside Kendrick Lamar in the Drake feud. He made it clear that he was part of Team Dot and predicted that his joint tour with SZA would be huge. Wack 100 also found time to take on one of Dot’s self-appointed operatives. Canadian artist Top5, who has been linked to Drake, has been filming the Compton legend since his release from prison in September. However, Wacker is not worried. In fact, he’s kind of funny.
In a recent interview with DJ Vlad, Wack 100 was asked what he thought of the Top5. The executive learned that Kendrick Lamar and SZA would be performing in Drake’s hometown and asked if he was worried about Top5 taking action against them. To put it nicely, he is not. “Brother, you’re nothing,” Wack 100 told Top5. “We saw this guy get his face beaten to a pulp and his butt kicked.” The West Coast figure claimed Top 5 wasn’t as hard as he claimed. “I don’t know where you’re from, brother,” Wacker added. “We left the porch at 12 o’clock. This guy always talks a lot.” He went on to poke fun at Top5’s appearance.
Wack 100 claims he’s ‘not worried’Top5
“Nobody’s worried about that, man,” Wacker added. On a more practical note, the music executive said Kendrick Lamar’s team will ensure his safety. He praised rappers for knowing who they are and that his team is equally focused on how they should conduct themselves in other cities. Wack 100 continues to tease Top5 and the Toronto scene, questioning whether they will have a “sharp shooter” for the Compton rapper’s performance.
Wack 100 also said something about God 6. “Drake can’t control Toronto because he’s not going to stop this show,” he noted. “It’s either a myth or how influential he is.” Wacker believes Toronto listeners may change the style of “Drizy” and switch to Lamar. “Get rid of the old,” asserts the seasoned executive. “There’s a new king here.” Wack 100 also speculated that fans will “go crazy” when Lamar performs his hit diss song “Not Like Us” in Toronto. “The same thing will happen at the Super Bowl,” he quipped.
