Tha 70 Tape Legend himself, Tha God Fahim, returns for his 49th EP with Nicholas Craven. Starting out as an affiliate of Griselda Records and becoming 1/3 of the Dump Gawds along with Mach-Hommy & Your Old Droog, we can’t ignore the vast amount of records he has made for himself, some of his standouts include Breaking Through the Van Allen Belt and Dumping Assassins. But this guy has been on a wild run since 2023, the standouts being Camoflauge Monk’s Dark Shogunn Assassin, Nature Sounds-backed Iron Bull and Nicholas Craven’s Dump Gawd: Shot Clock King Series, Oh No’s Berserko , Dump Gawd: Rhyme Pays (produced by Mike Shabb), Tha Supreme Hoarder of All Pristine Wealth, Supreme Dump Legend: Soul Cook Saga (produced by Cookin’ Soul), and Machine Gun Vocabulary (produced by Cartune Beatz). It’s been 5 years since Dump Gawd: Hyperbolic Time Chamber Rap, and a few months ago we received the second and third installments of The Myth of Never Give Up, but in Dump Gawd: Hyperbolic Time Chamber Rap and the sequel With that over, it’s time to wrap up the trilogy.
“The Intent of Vengeance” kicks off Hyperbolic Time Chamber Rap 3 with a soulful boom bap instrumental that talks about having to do things right because things might change tonight, while “Bullet Proof Confidence” builds on some keys, kicks and military Keys, kicks and snare drums are at work, showing off his ego – guaranteed to be indestructible. The piano sample on “Senzu” is reminiscent of Scarface’s “On My Block,” and he’s still talking about it lyrically before “Not for Sale” wonders if you’re his enemy or friend.
Keeping the other half going, “Heavy Handed” brings a soulful dusty flare back to the table, comparing his longevity to current Los Angeles Lakers player LeBron James, while “Kumite” keeps it in the basement, Promise to waste y’all cars like grand theft auto. “Makankosappo” gruffly promised to take everyone’s word for him and had them finish “More Further” by telling everyone to be sporty and watch him shoot half-court shots.
Dump Gawd is ending his 2024 with a bang, starting with another trilogy of projects with one of the biggest producers of this decade, previewing big things to come throughout 2025. Nicholas Craven’s production continues the booming bap style that the first two entries in the hyperbolic Time Chamber Rap series emphasized 6-7 weeks ago, and Fahim surpasses himself from a lyrical perspective.
