Ted Nugent has just proven he has the weirdest taste after going off on Eminem while praising Yungblud’s recent nude yacht party in Sydney.
The Motown Man took to YouTube this week to rail against Eminem and Jack White’s political views as “complete idiots,” but he took time to celebrate Yungblud as “the real McCoy” before the British rocker stripped naked on a boat.
“Eminem, this guy is a complete idiot,” Nugent said in his “Let’s Talk Music” video, slamming the Detroit rapper for opposing Donald Trump and supporting his alleged dangerous border policies.
But when it came to Yungblud, Nugent suddenly became a fan of young, rebellious rock.
“This guy is the real McCoy,” Nugent gushed about Lungblud, comparing him to Chuck Berry and Little Richard. But Berry and Richard have never been naked in front of the world.
Yungblud was spotted living his best life on a Sydney Harbor cruise ship, with a drink in hand and surrounded by crew, modesty being entirely optional, while Nugent cheered him on from afar.
Nugent went on to praise Lungblud’s work with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, saying it gave him hope that true rock ‘n’ roll still exists, even if it involves towel-optional yacht parties.
Meanwhile, Eminem has been called an “idiot” for his music and politics, despite being one of the most successful rappers in history and actually keeping his clothes on during public appearances.
The 76-year-old guitarist has been an outspoken supporter of Trump for years, but his decision to praise a nearly naked British rocker while slamming a fully clothed American rapper suggests his priorities may need some adjustment.
