Tyler, The Creator has unveiled his first-ever Louis Vuitton collection with a photorealistic trailer showcasing his colorful offerings for Spring 2024.
On Thursday (March 21), Taylor released a two-minute video on social platforms to promote the launch of the series. In the video, he jokingly drags an oversized camera into the studio with the intention of photographing new merchandise.
“Where has everyone gone? Damn it!” he yelled when he realized there was nothing he could do.
The “Craggy Monogram” collection includes a range of items such as knitted vests, collectible cereal bowls, leather golf bags, chess sets and shoes.
The California native also took some time to reflect on the collaboration, writing on Twitter: “I started stenciling on proclubs in ’04. Then ironed on for bloxhead in ’06. Had some crappy prints in ’08 .
“Jasper would ask me to paint his hoodies and shoes, and I never said no. Then Odd Future Items cracked in 2011, and then Vans trusted me. I started in 2013 and dialed up Golf King , which resulted in an unhappy relationship; which continues.”
He continued: “I started making le FLEUR* in 2019 after Lacoste gave me a chance. le FLEUR* was finally released in 2021 and I’m still perfecting it. When I got the chance to make this collection at Louis Vuitton , all the preparation worked. I wasn’t nervous. I wasn’t stressed. I was ready.
“I’m really proud of how it turned out. Most importantly, I got to use my friends in it and the same production crew I’ve used on all my content since the yonkers video. I’ve been making music and producing since I was 13 Outfits. Glad to add this to the list.”

I started making templates on professional clubs in 2004.
Then ironed for bloxhead in ’06.
A couple of crappy fucking prints from 2008.
Jasper would ask me to draw his hoodies and shoes, and I never said no.
Then there was a crack at Odd Future Items in 2011, and then Vans trusted me.
I started calling Golf King…— T (@tylerthecreator) March 21, 2024
Tyler, The Creator first announced the project in February and thanked Ferrell when he revealed his plans.
He wrote in a social media post: “Louis Vuitton collection by TYLER OKONMA. Hand drawn rugged monogram. Checkerboards are my favorite thing I make. Thank you @pharrell, I love you and you keep throwing me the keys .@louisvuitton team thanks you for making these ideas a reality.
“Thank you @darrenvongphakdy, we really ran out there like we ran the place. @missrazavi and @luisperezdop we are a true trio [pink heart with stars emoji] I’ve been making clothes since I was 13, oh my God. “
The post also included a photo of him with Pharrell, whom he has long cited as his biggest influence, and his LV ID card, which read: “Sir Tyler Okonma).”
Tyler, The Creator revealed more insight into the collection in a statement to GQ, saying, “My main focus is making things that I will wear all the time. What I wear to a meeting has nothing to do with going to a show or going to a show.” The attire is the same for grocery store trips, so the hand drawn monogram felt like the perfect balance to me.
“The board is one of the greatest things I’ve ever made and definitely my favorite thing in my collection. It was such a pleasure working with this team, it felt like working with Tom Hanks. P always has an open door for me door, but I still can’t believe this door.”
In return, Farrell added: “Tyler has been a close friend and collaborator of mine over the years and we have maintained a close relationship in music and design. This collaboration is unique to Louis Vuitton, Because it’s a natural extension of our LVERS philosophy, built on our incredible network of artists and creatives.
“These pieces incorporate many elements that are unique to Taylor, and it’s been inspiring to see him hone his craft and collaborate with him on this spring collection.”
