Tay-K murder continues
Tay-K’s second murder trial continued Monday (April 7) in the Bexar County Court in Texas, with testimony from Joanna Reyes, who dated a Texas rapper during the incident. She testified that she saw Tay-K shooting and killing Mark Anthony Saldivar on April 23, 2017. Reyes was driving the SUV when Tay-K and three other men, including Jaylen Bell, tried to rob camera equipment in the back seat.
“Tymore pulled out the gun, pointed it at Mark and asked for his schoolbag,” Reyes told the jury. “Mark refused to give him a bag, they all started hitting him. Tymore shot him with a gun.”
After the attack on Saldivar, the men tried to push him out of the car and then Saldivar jumped onto the hood. Reyes told the jury that Tay-k leaned over and Saldivar turned around and tried to get him out of the car. Afterwards, they entered the parking lot of the Mexican restaurant.
“They are going through [the victim’s] Reyes said: “The backpack and his purse. They were frustrated because that was only $10… They kind of walked back and forth. Then, Jaylen applauded [Tay-K] And gave him five. They win each other highly. Jaylen said, “You grabbed the first body.”
Reyes admitted to witnessing tampering and would be postponed in exchange for her testimony.
Tay-K allegedly committed the murders for the 2016 murder and the robbery of Ethan Walker. Tay-K, who has been sentenced to 55 years in prison for Walker’s murder, is facing life in prison and there is no possibility of parole if he is guilty in his current case.
