Tay-k is notorious for turning a fugitive run into a billboard hit, and just got hit by a sentence, which guarantees that he won’t run anywhere for a long time.
The rapper was sentenced to 80 years in prison for the 2017 murder of San Antonio photographer Mark Anthony Saldivar.
This belief stems from an event that occurred when Tay-K was already running away. “Compet” rapper shot Saldivar in the Chick-Fil-A parking lot after the victim refused to give up his backpack. Tay-K has evaded the law for murder and robbery.
“The sentencing proposed by the jury proves that accountability does not know social status; whether a person is a celebrity or a daily individual, their actions have consequences.”
“The outcome of this case reflects our office’s commitment to upholding the law and ensures that those who repeatedly violate the law are responsible for the greater good of the community.”
As we previously reported, the 24-year-old escaped the murder, mainly because he was only 16 at the time of the shooting. The 80-year prison sentence was held at the same time as a 55-year bid, and he had already held positions for the role of robbery and killing of Ethan Walker in Fort Worth.
Tay-K is notorious from his song “The Race”, which was recorded when he escaped from the law. The song ranks No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 and makes Tay-K a tragic legend. He even poses with the poster he wants in the video.
Whether he intends to rap like Tory Lannes has not been revealed yet.
