T-Pain says he regrets the backlash he received for drunkenly dancing to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” on stage.
T-Pain Regretfully Follows Kendrick Lamar Diss Track
T-Pain took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday (May 27) to express that he sadly regrets wearing a bathrobe to follow Kendrick Lamar at a show in Las Vegas over the weekend Dance to “Not Like Us” by (Kendrick Lamar). Apparently, Drizzy fans believe T-Pain has chosen a side in the ongoing feud between The Boy and K-Dot. T-Pain says that’s not the case.
“OK! Guys, you heard it here first. Don’t get drunk and dance in a robe. Somehow this is now a political statement,” Penn wrote on Twitter. “Please don’t let other people’s beef ruin your fun. Please let everyone dance! Mustard killed that damn beat. It would be weird if you didn’t dance to it.”
T-Pain previously made no comment on the volatile feud during an appearance on the Nappy Boy radio show in April.
“Derek or Kendrick? I choose to mind my own business,” he said at the time. “This has nothing to do with me. It won’t hurt my wallet if I choose one of them. No bullshit.”
Some put in the effort for Team Kendrick or Team Drake. Rick Ross has shown a vitriolic hatred for Drizzy, siding with K-Dot at every turn, while other rappers like Lil Yachty have remained loyal to Drake. However, some like T-Pain haven’t shown any interest in picking a side. Stevie Wonder told TMZ in early May that he wasn’t interested in either Drake or Kendrick and that the ongoing feud was distracting from the real wars going on around the world attention.

Do robots or real people hate Drake?
While Drizzy’s fans may interpret T-Pain’s dance moves as throwing more shade at their king, it remains to be seen if all the hate Drake received following the feud actually came from a real person observe.
On Sunday (May 26), DJ Akademiks jumped on the X to suggest that the hatred for the Six Gods might be artificially generated. Drake’s two diss songs on YouTube: “Family Matters” and “The Heart Part 6” as well as his latest song with Sexy Red “U My Everything” have received more dislike on the platform than Drake’s previous songs. like.
“Family Matters” has accumulated more than 400,000 dislikes, “The Heart Part 6” has received more than 1.6 million dislikes, and “U My Everything” has already received 94,000 dislikes. Whether the hate comes from bots or real people, Drake fans feel the same way. So it makes sense that they would pursue T-Pain so hard.
