T-Pain uses his new mental health-themed track “On This Hill” to work for the greater good of his fan base.
To celebrate its release, the rapper has partnered with online and mobile therapy company Talkspace to offer free therapy sessions to some of his fans over the next year. He originally shared the song on Friday (May 17) in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.
“This song is really about refusing to be gaslighted anymore,” T-Pain said in a statement about the song’s purpose. “It made me realize I had to stand up for myself. This has been something I’ve had to open my eyes to and learn how to deal with over the years. So yeah, I’m going to die on this mountain, ha!
Let’s listen to it below.

Earlier this month, the “Buy UA Drank” singer explained his plans to build an educational institution in Wisconsin after he brought pride to the state with his 2008 hit “Can’t Believe It” and joy.
This is a commitment he made to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel back in 2023.
“When I recorded that song, I really felt like I was Andre 3000,” he told Billboard of “Can’t Believe It.” “When I recorded that song, that was my spirit animal.”
He continued, “That gave birth to the infamous ‘Wiscasian Mansion’ era again. From that point on, we were really able to incorporate it into everything. […] All the tours I take now are based in Wisconsin. We have a “University of Wiscasin”. All products are themed “Wiscasin”. We’re actually opening a school in Wisconsin. This is a music school.
T-Pain then showed some love to Lil Wayne, claiming that working with him was “awesome.”
Wisconsin showed T-Pain some love in return.
Back in 2022, he earned official recognition from the Badger State during one of his stops on the Road to Wiscasin tour.
Instead of holding a solo concert, T-Pain invited fans to the Wiscasin Music Festival, where he was joined by Lil Jon, Juvenile, Yung Bleu, K Camp, OT Genasis and other artists.
