SZA said she will release a new album before 2024 is over.
The superstar singer joined Lizzo on Kai Cenat’s “Mafiathon 2” livestream Saturday night, where they hung out at home and talked music, love, and more. While there were plenty of fun moments during the livestream, where they also spent time in the kitchen, the most newsworthy was when Kai asked SZA about new music.
While in the kitchen, Kai asked SZA when her new project would be coming, and she replied, “Before the year is over,” before continuing to sip her drink. SZA has been teasing the release of a new album, but she’s not the best at sticking to dates and schedules.
We have completed some amazing projects this year. Schoolboy Q, Sir, Zacari, Alemeda, Doechii and AB-Soul delivered great work…with a month and a half left in the year. 😉

SZA manager and TDE executive Punch has hinted that there will be some big things happening on his roster in the remaining weeks of the year. Earlier this month, she revealed in an interview with British Vogue that a deluxe edition of SOS and her third studio album, Lana, are in the works
