Nicki Minaj reignites tensions with SZA after she unloaded a series of insults online on Tuesday (July 15), drama that failed to request for collaboration in 2020.
At the Breakfast Club on Wednesday (July 16), media figure Loren Lorosa shared details of a private text exchange with Punch, president of Top Dawg Entertainment, who has insight into the origins of the Rift Valley.
“He said, ‘In 2020, Nicki Minaj stretched out the SZA function on the song,” Lorosa explained. “He responded that Nicki Minaj said SZA was in album mode heavy and he would hand it over to her, that’s it. They didn’t speak anymore. The function didn’t happen.
When Minaj posted a punch photo, the situation escalated with the title: “I sucked some good Zik. Guaranteed you won’t fight with a man. We have every tweet you keep bullying, lying, etc. Your name is added to S ### list S #### list S ######masters. It’s fascinating to make you laugh.
Sza seems to respond indirectly by posting “Mercury retrograde…Don’t bait laughing stupid goose.” Minaj fired back with a sharp message: “Go to grab freckles#### #justicefordemoree #depositionperez liar liar liar liar liar pants. Sounds like a dead dog.”
Sza also didn’t back down, writing, “I don’t give AF ### bout bout bout, ### ## you pop up.” She later added, “I was bullied by millions of people online every day and then drove my ass out of the Onna Stadium trip, PPL showed me true love. In real life. My parents were healthy and I was the most successful I ever had.
Of course, Minaj didn’t do it there and then continued her long battle.
“Wait,” she said. “Did Sza think she’s more successful than me? Lol Yall catch me. SZA. If every song you’ve ever done disappears, the music business won’t even miss you. I’ve been to a country I’ve never heard of. I know you’re not that stupid? Are you a stadium?
