Stefflon Don discussed her feud with Jada Kingdom on GRM Daily’s Thoughts In A Culli show. Steffron accused Jada of being influential and pursuing their beef, which stemmed from their romance with Burna Boy.
“If you really had the means, you could take matters into your own hands, but you don’t want to,” Steffron said. “You want clout. So, I thought this was the right day. I’m not going to lie. My engineer is in the studio. We’re already cooking. I released that song that she thought was about her, and I I think I wrote it two or three days ago.
Steffron claimed that her song “Dat a Dat” was not originally directed at Jada. The British rapper updated the song after the pair clashed online.
“I don’t really like going back and forth online, so I thought, ‘Let’s do this in music,'” Steffron said.
Stefflon told GRM Daily that she was never upset about Jada’s alleged entanglement with Burna Boy.
“We used to be cool,” Steffron said of Jada. “And what happened, I wasn’t even with [Burna]. I don’t even care what he’s doing. She’s selling, he’s buying. What is the problem?
But Steffron said she and Jada “were never friends.”
“That doesn’t look like my maid,” Steffron said. “We connected once or twice… nothing to rekindle. Anyway, we stopped talking because she asked me to dance to a tune and it took me forever or something… but even after After that, right before my situation with my man, she messaged me and then she said, ‘I was in London and she thought I didn’t see it.
After months of feuding with each other, Steffron insists she’s ready to move on from the feud.
“I hope [Jada] The best of her career because I feel like she’s a dope artist,” she said. “And it’s really not that deep.”
