Suburban Noize Records and Stacc Styles are ready to release new single “Weed, Wax & Whiskey” to celebrate this year’s 4/20 holiday. The holiday celebrated annually by cannabis smokers around the world falls on April 20th each year, after the police code “4:20”, which is used to signal the use of cannabis.
“This song sounds like an old-school suburban noise song. The beat has a retro Kottonmouth Kings or Saint Dog sound and was produced by Sublime’s LD and Rome, so it has a classic West Coast vibe,” comments Stacc Styles. “This song is a celebration of everything about cannabis, but it’s also very personal to me as it’s dedicated to all the friends and family I’ve lost to drug addiction or suicide. Hopefully this will serve as a reminder of the growing opioid epidemic in this country A warning sign of the drug epidemic, as the country is getting too many opioids too fast.
The song is the latest single from Stacc Styles’ upcoming Suburban Noize debut album, Live Your Best Life, currently scheduled for release on June 21st.
