Soulja Boy refused to file a lawsuit against the rapper after prosecutors were arrested for possession of firearms.
The “Crank” star stayed for two nights before deciding that he had no case answer.
“The case was denied due to insufficient evidence,” a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement.
In response to the post, Soulja Boy wrote “Day One” in his Instagram story.
Soulja Boy was pulled over at a traffic stop in Los Angeles, a passenger in a car.
Police did not disclose what prompted traffic to stop, who drove the vehicle or why the search was conducted.
Soulja Boy was previously convicted of carrying a gun in 2014.
He has encountered many other legal issues in recent years, including being responsible for rape in early 2025.
The anonymous plaintiff was suspected of assault, sexual assault and a “crank” rapper who deliberately caused emotional distress, eventually believed her testimony.
After the verdict, Soulja Boy opposed the trial, first of all, the suffering he suffered financially.

Soulja Boy’s lawyer also said in a statement: “We insist that the evidence does not support the judgment. Unfortunately, allowing disgust and misunderstanding of culture can affect the trial. Mr. Way is completely committed to pursuing his post-trial therapy and fighting for the outcome of justice in this case.”
