Soulja Boy faces explosive charges in California court, with his plaintiff attorney claiming the rapper pretending to be himself.
He was accused of manipulating the jury with “fake glasses” and a suit during a high-risk civil rape trial.
The woman, known as Jane Doe, is seeking $73.6 million in damages to the repetitive sexual assault and physical abuse described by her legal team during her tenure as Soulja Boy’s personal assistant between 2019 and 2020.
In closing the debate, DOE cried, her lawyer described the so-called trauma she experienced while working as a hip-hop artist.

“He was wearing a nerdy role-playing,” her lawyer told the juror. “It was an act, a show around, wearing glasses and a suit.” The lawyer stressed that during the cross-examination, he admitted that the glasses he was wearing had no prescription glasses.
Doe’s lawsuit alleges that the abuse began in February 2019 at the police raid at Soulja Boy’s Malibu Hills’ home and lasted for more than a year.
She said she was initially hired as a paid assistant after meeting the rapper through mutual acquaintances.
His legal team pushed back, portraying the lawsuit as a manufacturing of a disgruntled ex-girlfriend seeking financial gain.
His lawyers believe the allegations are part of a “false story” designed to damage his reputation and withdraw money.
The jury is now responsible for weighing testimony and evidence from the four-week trial.
The verdict has not been announced yet.
