SNOT and Cochise made a splash with their 2021 collaboration “Tell ‘Em.” It’s energetic, fun, and very engaging. The two show off a lot of chemistry on this song, especially their ability to swap bars back and forth. Fans thought there were more SNOT and Cochise songs to come, but it took the duo three years to release a proper follow-up. Thankfully, “Hot” was worth the wait. It’s a completely different vibe than “Tell ‘Em,” as it has both rappers in celebration mode.
For the duo’s last song, the instrumental was night and day. “Tell ‘Em” has the feel of a tense night out. On the other hand, “lively” makes people feel more energetic. The synths are bright, like a summer party starting in the day. The synthesizers do a lot of the heavy lifting. They evoke the same feeling as Jay-Z’s “Ignant Sh*t.” That’s the last comparison for Jay, though. Snot and his fellow criminals don’t want to confuse their audience with puns. It’s all catchy vocal riffs and auto-tuned trash talk. sounds good. Cochise’s vocals sound especially smooth on the back end of the song.

SNOT’s instrumental is perfect for summer
I quit a few drugs and put you in the internet truck
Braving angel dust, this black energy can’t deal with us
The diamonds on my wrist look like emo rock
These niggas are talking shit, you know I don’t give a shit
