After the success of K-Dot’s Pop Out – Ken & Friends concert, Snoop Dogg declared Kendrick Lamar the King of the West Coast.

Snoop Dogg thinks Kendrick Lamar is the king

While relaxing in a hotel room in Canada on Friday (June 21), Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to pay special tribute to Kendrick Lamar and his latest pop A tribute to the unity shown in the Out show.

“Wake up this morning, Big Snoop Dogg is coming to you live from Canada,” Snoopy began. “Shout out to K-Dot and all my brothers from the West who are united and organized in the love of peace. It’s great to see all my people coming together, well K-Dot you are the King of the West This is how kings unite.

Fans noticed Snoop Dogg’s absence during K-Dot’s performance at Pop Out. This is especially noticeable when Dr. Dre appears as a surprise guest. Dre and Kendrick performed classic songs “Still DRE” and “California Love.”

Snoop Dogg speaks highly of Kendrick Lamar after .80

This isn’t the first time Snoop has praised Kendrick Lamar as a leader in hip-hop. Back in 2011, Snoop celebrated K-Dot after popping up during one of Kendrick’s earliest shows. The show came a month after Kendrick dropped his Section.80 debut.

“I said it and I meant it,” Snoop told K-Dot and the crowd. “I said it and I meant it. N***a, you got the torch,” Snoop said at the time. .

Kendrick Lamar’s Pop Out event was indeed a major event. Kendrick started his set with “Euphoria” and then moved on to more hits. The night also featured a Black Hippie Reunion, with Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and ScHoolboy Q reuniting on stage. Dr. Dre then introduced Kendrick’s chart-topping Drake diss song “Not Like Us,” which Kendrick went on to perform five times. The show ended with a big group photo of everyone who attended the show, followed by the final performance, “Not Like Us.”
