Slick Rick is officially back.
Ricky Walters PKA Slick Rick (Ricky Walters PKA Slick Rick) is joining the victory with the Creative Forces outside of Idris Elba, a visionary visual album designed to be released through Elba’s record label 7Wallace and collaborate with mass appeal. It will be available anywhere on June 13.
The victory marks the return that Slick Rick has long been looking forward to and his first album since 1999’s Art of Storytelling. The project features collaborations with NAS and GIGGS and special contributions from Estelle. This is part of the ambitious legend. . Mass Flice campaign, they released 7 new albums from 7 iconic performances, and other albums in the other lineup are Nas, Raekwon, Mobb Deep, Deep, Big L, and more.

Idris Elba said: “Working with Slick Rick… Going back to your home in the UK and then offering the hip-hop world, something amazing is a blessing. It’s actually a gift!”

The album will be accompanied by a 30-minute immersive film directed by Meji Alabi – Beyoncé Black is the creativity behind King. Slick Rick collaborates with legendary photographers Jonathan Mannion and Brand Storytellers Steelter Studios for an aesthetic perspective, and the music is a mix of Young Guru.
The victory was recorded in Rick’s birthplace, London and France, with visual effects shot on three continents (US, UK and Africa).
The victory will premiere on June 7 at SXSW’s inaugural SXSW London @ Shoreditch Town Hall, before having a conversation with Slick Rick, Idris Elba and film director Meji Alabi (tickets here). In New York, the film will premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Festival on June 13, followed by a Q&A with Slick Rick (tickets here).
