In November 2023, Sean “Diddy” Combs spoke with Cassie Ventura about sexual and physical abuse by her ex-boyfriend After the lawsuit was filed, an undisclosed settlement was reached. Other alleged victims have also sued the creators of Off the Grid.
Diddy, 54, is still receiving support from some celebrities and fans following multiple accusations of sexual misconduct. For example, Houston-born rapper Slim Thug publicly questioned whether Cassie Ventura lied about Combs raping and assaulting her.
On Friday (May 17), CNN released a surveillance video from March 2016 that apparently showed Diddy assaulting Cassie Ventura at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles. Slim Thug publicly responded to the video in a post on Instagram.
“Damn Didi [man facepalming emoji].I tried with [Black] No one has been charged yet but I can’t support that [zipper-mouth face emoji]. I want this L,” Slim Thug wrote.
The 43-year-old “Still Tippin” performer continued, “But I’m still going to be with my [people] Until I saw some kind of proof. I don’t believe in blogs or civil lawsuits.Apologies to Cassie and everyone else who was on the right side this time. [folded hands emojis]”.
In November 2023, Slim Thug apologized, saying that Cassie Ventura sued Diddy just to get “the bag” and that the bad boy mogul was not abusive to her during their relationship. Four months later, Thug accused the hip-hop community of not supporting the “billionaire” over what he suggested was a smear campaign.
