Silento was sentenced for cousin’s murder
Silento was born in Ricky Hawk on Wednesday (June 11), and appeared in DeKalb County, Georgia, where he pleaded guilty but had an intellectual illness on charges related to the fatal shooting. In exchange for his crime of malicious murder, Silento pleaded guilty to voluntary murder, aggravated the assault, and pleaded guilty in the case of possessing a gun during a felonious crime and covering up another person’s death.
He was awarded 20 years of manslaughter, while each person suffered serious assault and gun ownership for five years. He has been credited to his time since his arrest in February 2021.

Silento’s reputation and legal issues
Silento rose to stardom in 2015 with his single “Watch Me (Whip/nae Nae), which has been certified for six times in platinum and has nearly 2 billion streams on YouTube. However, in 2020, he was arrested after walking into the home of a random family after searching for his girlfriend with an axe. That same year, he was arrested again in Georgia for driving 140 miles per hour.
Silent Game accused of Murder
A few weeks after the rapper’s 23rd birthday, he was arrested in February 2021 and charged with killing his 34-year-old cousin Frederick Rooks, who was shot to death in January of that year. After his arrest, Silento’s public relations staff issued a statement saying that Silento had gained enough meaning in mental health issues for years and was experiencing a bipolar attack when the killing occurred. Earlier this year, Silento was reportedly not mentally suitable for trial.
