Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow are no strangers to controversy. The Brooklyn rapper was charged with conspiracy in 2023 and underwent a heated and lengthy trial. Now, they are courting the former President of the United States. What a difference a year makes. Donald Trump recently held a presidential rally in New York City, and he decided to bring in Shaev G and The Sleeping Hallows to prove his character. Admittedly, it’s an odd choice, but a fascinating one nonetheless.
In the video posted by “No Jumper”, Trump can be seen introducing the training stars. “There’s also rapper Sheff G… and rapper Sleepy Hallow,” he shouted to the audience. Shef G then took to the podium and quickly expressed his support for President Trump. “I want to say something,” he asserted. “They’ll always whisper your accomplishments and yell your failures. Trump will scream victory for us all.” The rapper then echoed Trump’s chant to the enthusiastic crowd. “Make America Great Again!” Sleepy Hallow was there when Sheff G gave his speech, but he didn’t get a chance to give his own speech.

Sheff G has been working to regain momentum in his career following his release from prison in April. The rapper recently spoke with Complex and claimed he will transcend the training scene he has helped pioneer over the past decade. “I leave a stepping stone for everyone who comes, I just inspire the crowd,” he asserted. “So, if you stand with me, you know you’re strong, and that’s how everyone else should feel…I’m going to prove it through everything I do. They know what happened What.
This isn’t the first time Donald Trump has invited rappers onstage to support his presidential campaign. In 2020, he called out Lil Pump at a rally in the rapper’s home state. However, the famous Lil Pump endorsement was eclipsed because Trump messed up his name. “When it comes to sound, music and other things, one of the biggest superstars in the world, Little Pimp,” he told the Florida crowd. “He’s there.” Pump took it all in stride, donning a MAGA hat on stage. For better or worse, Scheff and Shen’s performance at the New York rally was far less memorable.
