Rapper Sheck Wes, whose hit song “Mo Bamba” even inspired Kanye West, has just released a new song with rapper Travis Scott. It was the collaboration that everyone expected, and Travis was the ideal candidate to praise Sheck’s voice.
The track title is basically the abbreviation for “I Love My b *** h”, which is a large part of the repetitive sound theme on the record. Wes and Scott are almost a hook, and both return to it after their usual creative escape.
In fact, this track has disappointed some fans online because it is not caused by collaboration at work. “Travis Scott needs to stop sending via email,” said one user on X.
At the same time, one can say that mechanical quality is nothing more than the result of the artist’s complete fit with the sound they have worked hard for years. If you do it too perfectly over and over again, it sounds just mechanical and not novel. But when you want to hear new ideas from artists you like, is it asking too much? Listen to your feelings!
