Shaquille O’Neal sparked outrage on social media after he posted an edited photo of Drake’s face hugging a bikini-clad woman with the NBA legend embracing fans were overwhelmed. He soundtracked this article with Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy.” The original photo was taken from a trip Shaq took to Spain in 2019, but there have been conflicting reports about the woman’s identity. Some media outlets claimed she was model Danielle Dilworth.
When DJ Akademiks shared the post on Instagram, many Drake fans criticized the NBA legend. “It makes Shaq look crazier than Drake. Drake is photoshopped. Shaq is actually in this photo [laughing emoji]. “Looks like the photo he took when he got out of the car,” one user wrote. Another added: “Imagine if Drake did something like this. Imagine if Drake did this , what an angry reaction he would get.

Shaq isn’t the first NBA star to be involved in the drama surrounding Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Metro Boomin and more artists. Lamar’s recent concert “The Pop Out – Ken & Friends” in Los Angeles featured several professional basketball players. LeBron James, James Harden, Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan were all in attendance. During the show, Lamar performed several of his Drake diss songs, including the hit “Not Like Us.” By the end of the concert, he belted out the single five times.
