Sexy Red is often at the center of controversy for her raunchy lyrics and crazy antics. Recently, however, critics have gone a step further and begun questioning her family life. The hitmaker has two young children, and she just welcomed her youngest this year.
However, in the midst of this major development, Sexyy Red is still hard at work on a new album, touring, and more. She’s never too busy to spend time with her kids, but her haters still question her parenting regardless. Today, however, she jumped online to fight back with a simple video.
Sexy Red shuts up haters in new clip
In the video, she can be seen hanging out in what appears to be a tour bus, joined by her daughter. “She doesn’t have kids,” she said, mocking the haters. She then showed off her mommy side by picking up the baby and kissing her a few times. Apparently, Sexy Red doesn’t mess around when it comes to her kids and doesn’t like critics questioning her parenting skills. After all, being a famous rapper and mother of two isn’t easy, as she admitted earlier this month.
After “Get It Sexy” went gold, she opened up about giving birth to her second child and revealed she was battling postpartum depression. “I was going through a lot that sexy night, just being depressed about my baby and going through postpartum,” she shared. “My team in Miami would have me in the studio writing songs, and I was just there crying and thinking about life. Luckily, she returned to her hometown of St. Louis to be with her family, which cheered her up.
