Sexyy Red spent a big moment paying tribute to the Atlanta rapper at a concert following his death on Thursday (September 5).
During that night’s show at Pinnacle Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, the Detroit artist had Quan’s 2013 breakout hit “Type of Way” shaking the arena rafters while she rapped along.
The show is part of Sexyy’s Sexyy Red 4 President Tour, supported by Kodak Black.

Big Sexy isn’t the only artist to pay tribute to Quan following his unexpected passing.
Atlanta native Playboi Carti was the first to pay tribute to the “Lifestyle” rapper, posting old videos and photos of Quan and his former Rich Gang collaborator Young Thug on social media.
He also expressed condolences for Quan’s passing while accepting the Artist of the Year award at the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players event in New York on Thursday night, saying: “RIP Rich Homie Quan.
Metro Boomin, who collaborated with Rich Homie on several songs including Travis Scott’s “Mamacita,” posted multiple photos of himself with the late rapper and wrote Word: “Spirit rich! Now your scriptures and writings immortalize you. Pray that God will bless your family with divine comfort and healing.
2 Chainz added in his own Instagram tribute: “Dam lil bro we were just talking about shooting a video [love heart emoji]special prayers for you and your family, and prayers for anyone and everyone who is dealing with something [prayer emoji] My condolences, brother.
In a touching post, Quavo spotted a photo of himself with Rich Homie Quan and the late takeoff, captioning it: “May God be with us, never saw this becoming a part of our journey.”
DJ Drama, who fronted Quan’s fan-favorite 2013 mixtape I Promise I Will Never Stop Going In, wrote: “Rich in spirit. Love you Brodie. Your legacy will live on forever…Rich Home Baaaby.
Outside of Atlanta, Public Enemy legend Chuck D posted his own tribute, which included a drawing of the late rapper with the caption: “RIP @richhomiequan.”
The New Yorker’s Lloyd Banks also said of Quan: “RIP Rich Homie Quan. Thank you for your contribution to culture. Condolences to his family and friends.”
