ScHoolboy Q had to postpone a concert scheduled for Saturday night in Chicago as numerous airlines were affected by the CrowdStrike/Microsoft service outage. Devin Malik, who was scheduled to open for Q at the show, took to Instagram to explain the reason for the delay. “There were no planes in Cali that could get us to Chicago in time, forcing us to move our flight forward a few days. Goodbye,” Malik wrote.
After the news was announced, Q wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “BraH,” along with a facepalm emoji. This is the second time this has happened to him, after his concert in Toronto, Canada, was canceled due to safety concerns. At the time, he speculated on social media that Drake, who has been feuding with Kendrick Lamar, arranged to cancel the event.

In response to the latest news, fans on X used Q for emphasis. Another added: “Just drove 6 hours from northern Michigan to see tonight’s show…and now it’s canceled. Not sure what to think or do.” Drake’s fans trolled Q’s situation. “Is this Drake’s fault? You’re not saying anyone in Chicago is going to get hurt…” one wrote. “You don’t apologize for causing unnecessary drama and spreading more lies, but when things go south, stop blaming those who weren’t involved. Put the blame on those who were.”
ScHoolboy Q reacts to concert cancellation
