Ryan Garcia was arrested on felony vandalism charges, TMZ Sports reported. Media reports said the incident occurred at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Beverly Hills on Saturday afternoon. Authorities claimed the militants damaged property inside the hotel, mainly his room and the hallway outside. It’s unclear how much damage he allegedly caused, as anything over $400 can constitute a felony in California.
In addition to reporting on the arrest, TMZ Sports also obtained video of police escorting Garcia into custody. In the video, he covers his head with a helmet as he enters a police car. However, he appears to be shirtless and can be identified through the tattoos on his back. Although he died peacefully, witnesses told TMZ he appeared to be affected.

Police arrested Garcia earlier this week after conducting a wellness check at the same hotel. He was reportedly in good condition at the time and officers did not disturb him, but he was reportedly banned from drinking alcohol at the hotel. Earlier this year, Garcia defeated Devin Haney in what many considered a major upset. “I don’t care what people say about me,” Garcia said after the fight. “…I drank every night. (The first Monday and Tuesday of boxing week) went out, drank, drank, drank. What happened? I won. I’m not necessarily proud of it, but I’m just saying That’s it. It’s a statement that you really can’t do anything I want to do. I drink every day and I’m not proud of it at all. .I just pray for my kids and hope they are okay. I hope I make them proud.
He subsequently tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug on the list of prohibited substances. Garcia appears to remain in police custody. Stay tuned to the HotNewHipHop website for further updates regarding Ryan Garcia and his recent arrest.
