I don’t know what’s in the water, but things are about to get crazy. We hear Lil Wayne has hit the studio to write a song for Kendrick Lamar. We’re not talking about love songs here. We are talking about a potential war.
I don’t know what’s going on, but it looks like Young Money is rallying like Voltron to wage war on the Compton MC.
This is unwise. The only thing I can think of is that they need a win and they’re going to deliver a Hail Mary. My brother Wayne is a champion in his own right, but he’s not really a battle rapper. In my opinion, even if Kendrick Lamar was willing to engage in this type of war, he wouldn’t be ready.
However, it is said that he went into the studio and recorded something. I hope he’s inspired, but I also hope he’s ready to go downhill, too. This is not what you want. Lines were quickly drawn, and we soon saw that most people seemed to agree. I think Drake fans believe Wayne has a chance. But to me, this has more to do with disdain for Kendrick than love for Weezy.
