As summer approaches, the hip-hop scenes begin to heat up. This week, a Louisiana rapper with a viral single dropped a new album, another rhyme from different parts of the boots also offered a new LP, Oakland MC dropped his latest project and more.

Rob49 Drops Let Me Fly Album

Rob49 has a virus on his hands with the single “Wthelly”. New Orleans rappers went on strike and the new album’s iron was hot and made me fly. The album comes in the form of 22 tracks, including a star-studded guest list including Lil Wayne, Cardi B, Sexy Red, Meek Mill, G Herbo, Gerbo, Quavo and more. This is a follow-up to the 2023 album 4 God II.

Fredo Bang releases Big Bang album

Fredo Bang has been making a lot of noises in 2025. Released with TEC in March after the joint album released the 8-legged gorilla, Fredo spun the block with his new solo album Big Bang. Prior to the singles “Feeling”, “Chopstick” and “D! E Slow”, the album included 17 songs. Loe Shimmy, Skilla Baby and YTB Fatt and the look.

G-eazy releases his helium album

After postponing the album earlier this year, G-eazy returns with new LP helium. As a follow-up to the 2024 Freak Show, G offers fans 10 new songs, including Delilah Montagu’s single “F ** K&Fight”. G recently commented on the project on Instagram. “Parties won’t last forever, love sometimes goes away, and balloons won’t fly forever. But it’s part of life and it’s worth it in the end.”
