Rick Ross apparently had at least one customer at a recent car show who was so unhappy that he was sued.
On Friday (August 9), TMZ broke the news that Rozay was sued by a man named Darris Straughter.
Strout, who uses a wheelchair, claims in the lawsuit that Ross Auto Show staff confirmed more than once that they would provide a wheelchair-accessible shuttle to take him to the event. But, he said, it never showed up on the day of the event.
The man said that in addition to paying for event tickets, he also paid for accommodation and transportation and even sold his car to afford the event.
He is reportedly suing for breach of contract, unjust enrichment and violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Ross, who spent Friday night in Monte Carlo, has yet to respond to news of the lawsuit.
Rick Ross’ third annual car show was held on June 1 at his sprawling Promise Land estate in Fayetteville, Georgia.
A few days before the show, he shared a jaw-dropping prize that he was going to give away to one lucky winner.
In a video shared online on May 25, the MMG mogul showed off a 37-carat VVS diamond car key worth $130,000, which he planned to hand out at his car events.
“There are still a few days until the car show. It’s time to show the winners what you will receive. Never done this before,” he said, sitting next to the jeweler on the yacht.
“Vobara, the number one jeweler in town, is with me. We do this on the street. […] real stone. We put our money where our mouth is. This has never been done before.
Last year, Biggest Bawse adorned his car show winner with equally expensive jewellery.
Rozay previously claimed to have spent around $300,000 in jewelry for the winners, and posted some Rolls-Royce-inspired jewelry online.
