Remy Ma and Claressa Shields shut down the internet on May 14 (May 14), after the recycled video clips convinced people that they had been in physical disputes over their ongoing personal hatred.
A short video of the Shield spread earlier this week, showing the boxing champion saying, “Please fight with me,” and “quit playing with me.”
After months of public tensions between the two women, the clip quickly sparked speculation that she was referring to Remy Ma.
However, many believe that the shot shows that the shield admits putting his hands on the Bronx rapper is actually from an earlier incident involving boxer Alycia Baumgardner.
Shields clarified the mix himself and said, “It’s fake, this video I’m talking about when I ran over Baumgardner.”
She followed up with another post that read: “You all know how damn it, I didn’t fight anyone.

Remy Ma also praised, brushing away rumors with some laughing emojis, saying, “Imagine that.

The history of the two dramas dates back to the end of 2024, when Remy Ma publicly revealed that the shield was associated with her estranged husband, Papoose.
Shields later started a private relationship with the rapper since August 2024.
Since then, the two have exchanged pokes online, and Shields once joked that she had called a dollar after accusing her of leaking her phone number.
Despite its long history, both women made it clear this week that there had never been a physical dispute.
