This week, one of New Jersey’s elite lyricists debuts his latest offering, a melodic newcomer brings some early Valentine’s Day vibes, some hit-maker drops an instrumental project, and more.
Ransom for abandoning Cabrini green project
Ransom never disappoints when it comes to delivering hard nuggets. The New Jersey lyricist released his first album of the year, Cabrini Green. With a stripped-down seven songs, Lang does all the heavy lifting on the solo release, which has no features. The latest offering is Chaos Is My Ladder 2, due out in 2024, and the follow-up to Conway The Machine.

Wolfacejoeyy releases Cupid album
Less than a year after the release of Valentino’s album, Wolffacejoeyy gives fans another project titled Cupid. The collection of 14 melodic songs includes guest appearances from Bay Swag, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and more. To promote the project, Wolf will take part in the Seraph Tour, his first cross-country jaunt. The tour includes eight shows and stops in Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Boston and more.

The Heatmakerz release sociopathic experimental album
Production duo The Heatmakerz have given the seal of approval to their new instrumental album Antisocial Experiments. Known for producing The Diplomats, Rick Ross, Jeezy and more, Rsonist and Thrilla showcase their penchant for curating retro high-pitched soul samples with eight tracks on their latest release. TH provided the soundtrack for Joell Ortiz’s WAR (With All Respect) album last October.
